Drag and drop a DICOM folder or set of DICOM files directly into this blue area to start analysis.

The software will automaticaly gather images into series, and find groups of similar series (like DCE or DWI). You will then have an overview of simple quality criteria (FOV, acquired voxel size, slice thickness...), and be able to search for keywords (like fat saturation for instance). In the second tab, you will find automatic analysis of the dataset, to check the compatibility of the dataset with some of standards available (like PI-QUAL for prostate MR imaging)...

This software is still under development (v.0.9 BETA ; 2023-02-20).
Please note that the files you drop on this page are NOT uploaded anywhere, all processing is done inside your web browser in Javascript.
If you choose to save the dataset to the database, only the information visible on the screen will be uploaded (no patient data).

PI-QUAL is a quality control scoring system designed to help physicians assess the quality of prostate MR examinations. It ranges from 1 to 5, depending on the quality of each of the 3 main sequences : T2, DWI and DCE.
Each sequence is assessed by combining some technical criteria (defined in the PI-RADS 2.1 standard), that this tool extracts automatically from the current dataset, and some visual criteria that you need to evaluate from actual images.
Each sequence will then be qualified as "optimal" (all criteria are correct), "acceptable" (between 70 and 99% of correct criteria), or "inacceptable" (<70% of correct criteria)
A PI-QUAL score of 1 or 2 doesn't allow the application of PI-RADS or Likert score

This software was developed between April 2022 and now, and released in March 2023.
Almost 150 prostate MR datasets from all MR manufacturers (Philips, Siemens, GE, Canon) were collected and tested successfully,...but after numerous adjustments, and mainly in the scope of the PI-QUAL (prostate MR) assessment.
Since some algorithms rely on proprietary or specific DICOM tags, and since the inventivity of engineers is limitless, your datasets may not be recognized perfectly (special sequences,...). If so, feel free to send us a single anonymized DICOM file of the study or series that is not recognized correctly, and we will do our best to correct this.

To date, only PI-QUAL test is public, but feel free to propose some other useful tests for MR data.
